Sean represents clients in a broad range of matters, including corporate law, general business, and commercial real estate.
Sean counsels clients on a variety of general corporate matters, including entity structure and formation, corporate governance, and offerings of debt and equity securities. He works with a diverse range of clients, including private companies, investors, and high net worth individuals.
Sean also advises on commercial and residential real estate matters. He has experience representing buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements.
Sean has extensive experience in risk management and political consulting. Prior to practicing law, Sean served for many years as a consultant to members of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Texas Legislature, and the Supreme Court of Texas. He managed projects such as the operation of a state university system’s political action committee and the creation of stakeholder analyses for a proposed international trade agreement. Sean also worked in-house for a financial institution, where he was responsible for third-party risk management, real estate transactions, and contract negotiation and review.
While in law school, Sean worked as a Judicial Intern for the Supreme Court of Texas and as a Summer Associate for a Dallas-based law firm focusing on energy and real estate transactions. He also volunteered as a Law Clerk for Disability Rights Texas.
Sean received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2019. While at SMU, he was a Dean’s Scholarship Recipient and a member of the SMU Board of Advocates. Sean received his B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin in 2015, where he majored in Government with a minor in Business Administration.
